INTENDED USE:

The CAREBED medical device is used for home care and is intended for use as a bed. The product is intended to be used in private homes, healthcare homes and hospitals.

1. People with mobility difficulties who need support and stability when lying down.
2. Post-surgical patients who need an adjustable bed to improve comfort and support during recovery.
3. People with neurological, rheumatic or cardiac diseases who require prolonged lying in bed.
4. Patients in advanced stages of terminal illness who need a specialized bed for palliative care. People undergoing rehabilitation at home who need a bed with height and angle adjustment to support the healing process.

The device is intended to come into contact with the undamaged skin of the user (patient) and has been tested in accordance with the relevant compliance standards, including: ISO 10993-1:2018, EN ISO 10993-5:2009 i EN ISO 10993-10:2013. The medical bed also meets the requirements of the standards:EN60601-2-52:2010+A1:2015, EN60601-1-2:2015+A1:2021.135

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

1. Patients without medical indications for the use of a specialised rehabilitation bed.
2. Patients who may not be able to use the bed function safely, even with caregiver supervision.
3. Persons with cardiac problems for whom the Trendelenburg position is medically contraindicated.
4. Patients with spinal injuries who require specialised orthopaedic beds with more precise adjustments and supports.
